Cruel Garden
Out of the blue, Lindsay Kemp phoned me to ask if I would be interested in singing in Ballet Rambert's new production, 'Cruel Garden', based on the life and death of Federico Garcia Lorca, choreographed by Christopher Bruce, with music composed by Carlos Miranda. So for a glorious year, I joined the Company as lead singer/actress, performing at the Roundhouse, Sadlers Wells, all the main theatre venues in England, and later in (the then) Yugoslavia and France.
